Representatives of the ambassadorial team for promotion of investment potentials of Subotica, held a meeting today with the competent authorities in the local self-government and companies which conduct business in the biggest city in north Bačka. They were introduced with the investment potentials and incentives that are available to investors who decide to build facilities in some of the city’s industrial zones. The team consists of representatives of Israel, National alliance for local economic development (NALED) and „Tigar" corporation from Pirot.

The city of Subotica in cooperation with the National alliance for local economic development (NALED) got an "ambassadorial team” which will work on promoting the business climate and attracting investments.

A multinational company „Studio Moderna“, better known in public for the TV sales „Top shop", „Dormeo“ sleeping program and „Kosmodisk“, today, in hotel „Galleria“, opened a contemporary equipped call centre, where 180 people from Subotica, got employment.. The new call centre, first of this kind in middle Europe, which will service markets of Serbia and Hungary by symbolically answering the phone and awarding the first buyer, was opened by president of the AP Vojvodina government, Bojan Pajtić.

German company „Contitech“, from a group of a German multinational company „Continental“, until the end of 2011, it should start with the construction of a production facility in Subotica

The closing conference of the project ECO-COOP „Enhancing economic cooperation in the field of integrated agricultural supply of goods along the Serbian-Hungarian border” has been held On June, 17, 2011, in the City hall.
