1.

Select few possible commercial names for the future company.

 2.

Check on the website of the Serbian Business Registers Agency www.sbra.gov.rs/ whether there are registered companies with the same name(s) since it is not allowed that two companies operate under the same commercial name.

 3.

Buy  (at least four copies) of form OP (certified signature) in the nearest bookstore.

 4.

Download from the SBRA site the Agreement on Establishing a Company (if there is more than a single founder) or the Decision on Establishing a Company (if there is only a single founder), fill it in and print it out in 3 copies.

 5.

Certify the OP Form, the Agreement or Decision on Establishing a Company with  the relevant Court  163,00 RSD and 1.112,00 RSD + commission)

 6.

Open  an interim bank account with a commercial bank at your choice,  pay the monetary contribution (dinar counter value of 250.00 euro on the day of payment and 250.00 euro within two years from establishment, or  500.00 euro one-off) and ask for the bank's certificate on the deposit (fee to be paid: 100.00 RSD). 

7.

Submit the certified documents (Decision or Agreement and bank certificate on the deposit of monetary contribution) to the local SBRA office. The administrative fee is 3.600,00 RSD + 1.460,00 RSD + commission.   The company registration number and the Decision on the Registration of the Commercial Company will be received within 3-4 days.

8.

Make copies of the Decision on Registration and order a stamp at a seal-engraver (self-inking stamps are made within one day at a price of about 1.400.00 RSD).

 9.

Buy a P1 Form (for VAT number) in a bookstore, fill it in and stamp it, then go to the Tax Directorate and submit the copy of the Decision on Registration and the filled in and stamped P1 Form (the VAT number will be received within about a fortnight).

10.

Once the VAT number is collected, go to your bankers with all registration-related documents and open the company’s bank account.
